A set of typographic posters exploring the contrast between two dream memories that I have experienced. Both memories occurred within the context of one lucid dream with three parts-one being the first stage of fear, the second stage representing the overcoming of fear, and the final stage which is the realization of being in a dream. The content of the posters is the compilation of the poem "Inner Wakefulness" by Sufi Mystic Rumi, mixed with text that tells the progression of the lucid dream. In order to make the pictorial images of the poster, I first created an original texture using Sumerian cuneiform script, then utilized the process of projection mapping on a live model. These posters communicate my personal experience with mysticism and lucid dreaming through near eastern typographic elements.
